Business Development Manager

Dominic has been with Media Monitors for two years. He is responsible for growing the NZ business by identifying new clients and helping them utilise the full range of media intelligence solutions on offer.

Dom’s role has a national focus but he is based in the Wellington head office. Prior to working at Media Monitors, he ran his own Marketing and Management Consultancy business. He is a graduate of Victoria University in Wellington where he gained a Commerce Degree in Marketing and Management.

Client Services Manager

Linnet has over 11 years experience in the media intelligence industry. As the Client Services Manager, Linn oversees the operation of a Client Service Team that comprises five Account Executives and two Newsdesk Executives, based in both Auckland and Wellington. The Client Services Team is responsible for the servicing of 1,000 clients across New Zealand.


Linnet has had an extensive career in the media intelligence industry having worked for Warburton’s in Australia, Media Search and Media Monitors from 2004. During this time Linn has worked in a variety of both operational and client facing roles.

Jason de Ruyter

Operations Manager

Jason's primary role is to oversee operations for the monitoring of all NZ press and broadcast media. Jason also assists in the general management of the NZ office. Jason’s team consists of around 50 employees which includes 3 Team Leaders.


Jason brings twelve years experience in the media intelligence industry working for Media Search before it was purchased by Media Monitors. He has extensive knowledge and experience in monitoring having worked in all the operational roles. Through this experience Jason has developed a in-depth understanding of all clients' needs and has witnessed the business grow from 14 employees in 2004 to 168 employees in 2010.

Account Director and Local Auckland Office Manager

Jade is a Auckland based with over three years experience and has worked with around 200 clients to ensure they receive market leading services for both analysis and monitoring. Jade is responsible for services provided to a wide range of clients from the banking, finance, insurance, legal, manufacturing, local government and PR sectors. Jade is also the Local Manager for Auckland and oversees an office that has 15 employees that help provide services to all our NZ clients.


Prior to joining Media Monitors Jade was the Sales Training Manager at IAG NZ and the Training and Knowledge Management Lead for Fonterra.
 

Daniel Pitts

Daniel Pitts

Operations Manager for Australian Production (APNZ)

As the Operations Manager for APNZ, Daniel is based in Wellington. The APNZ consists of a team of 80 broadcast monitors and six team leaders, covering Australian radio content from over 200 stations in 45 locations across Australia, and servicing clients based in Australian and New Zealand.


Daniel has over five years experience in monitoring, having started out with one of Media Monitors' competitors in Melbourne before joining the Media Monitors team. Dan relocated to Wellington with his family from Melbourne in March 2008 to build and manage a team that was responsible for monitoring Australian radio content. Before working in the media intelligence industry Dan was a corporate Client Manager in one of Ireland's largest telecommunication providers.

Aden Bushell

Aden Bushell

Business Development Manager - Social Media Intelligence, Brandtology

Aden has been involved in the media intelligence industry since 2007. He is responsible for tailoring social media intelligence solutions for clients across all industry sectors in New Zealand. Prior to this, Aden was one of two Auckland Account Directors servicing the traditional media monitoring and analysis needs of Corporate and Agency clients.

Before joining the media industry Aden was at the helm relocating Super Yachts around the world.
 

Ngaruna Kapinga

Ngaruna Kapinga

Account Director

Based in Wellington, Ngaruna is responsible for managing the monitoring and analysis requirements for all clients from the Central North Island to the bottom of the South.

She has 12 years experience in the media monitoring industry including the following roles with Media Monitors: Integration Manager - Media Search/Media Monitors, Senior Reader Analyst, Operations Supervisor and Assistant Manager NZ - Sales. She also held senior roles at Chong Newztel and at news aggregator Scoop.co.nz.

Ngaruna is completing a post graduate diploma in Business Administration specialising in communications and public relations.
 

Ngaire Shepherd-Crawford

Product Specialist

As New Zealand Product Specialist, Ngaire is responsible for managing client relationships and media analysis solutions across the national market. Her focus is on developing strong relationships with New Zealand clients and creating projects that complement New Zealand’s unique media environment.

Ngaire joined Media Monitors in 2008 after working as a freelance media analyst, and worked as an analyst with the Financial Services team and as Senior Portfolio Analyst for the Communications and Education sectors.

She holds a masters degree in media studies from Victoria University of Wellington, where she worked as a tutor and lecturer in her specialised areas of cultural identity, and the New Zealand media landscape.

Simon Hopkins

Simon brings a wealth of digital sales expertise to Brandtology.

Simon Hopkins

Brandtology Commercial Director, ANZ

Brandtology, a Sentia Media company, delivers social media and online busniess intelligence solutions across Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining Brandtology as Commercial Director for Australia and New Zealand, Simon was the National Group Sales manager for ACP Magazines Digital sales division.

He has over 20 years’ experience in media and advertising sales, starting his career in agencies with senior media buying and strategy roles at DDB, Leo Burnett’s and Clemenger before moving into advertising sales and marketing with management roles at Fairfax, Win Television, The Seven Network, Ministry of Sound London and the Ten Network.

Simon brings a wealth of digital sales expertise to Brandtology.

Sarah Durante

Sarah Durante

Finance Manager

As the NZ Finance Manager, Sarah is based in Wellington. She completed her qualifications with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and moved to Wellington in 2008 where she worked as Manager in a Public Practice for several years before joining Media Monitors.

Sarah is responsible for finance operations across New Zealand and works closely with the NZ Management Team to support the financial and non financial goals of the business.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Financial Accounting and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Australia).
